AI-powered voice host Sadie has announced a strategic integration with OpenTable, promising to help restaurants never miss a booking opportunity again.
The partnership combines Sadie’s conversational AI capabilities with OpenTable’s global restaurant network, allowing diners to make reservations, ask questions, and receive confirmations through voice interactions that flow into OpenTable’s platform.
“Partnering with OpenTable gives restaurants a powerful advantage: the ability to capture and manage every booking opportunity, no matter how guests choose to connect,” said Mitch Bourassa, Partner at Sadie. The integration aims to help restaurants reduce missed reservations while freeing up staff to focus on in-person service.
For restaurants, the technology addresses a persistent pain point: missed calls during peak hours or after closing time, resulting in lost revenue. Sadie’s AI host can field these calls around the clock, taking reservations and answering common guest questions when human staff aren’t available.
OpenTable CTO Sagar Mehta noted that the company’s restaurant partners are increasingly embracing voice AI to improve operational efficiency: “By partnering with Sadie, we’re expanding our offerings to streamline bookings and ensure restaurants never miss the chance to welcome a guest.”
Montreal-based Sadie, owned by software company Valsoft, joins OpenTable’s growing ecosystem of integration partners. The new capability is now available through OpenTable’s Integration Marketplace, giving the platform’s 60,000+ restaurant partners access to AI-powered booking assistance.
