Hello Harry has officially entered the New South Wales market, opening its first location in the state at Showground Village, Castle Hill. The opening marks a significant milestone for the burger chain, which now operates 18 restaurants across Australia.
The Castle Hill location represents Hello Harry’s strategic expansion into Sydney’s competitive food scene, choosing the Hills District for its first NSW foothold due to several key factors. The area boasts a large population within a 4-kilometre radius, convenient transport links with a train station adjacent to the development, and strong demographics with good disposable income levels.
“The location made perfect sense for us. There’s substantial residential growth planned with new apartments still to be built over the next year or two, plus the Showground Village development secured solid anchor tenants, including Woolworths,” explained Kiran Paija, owner and director of the Castle Hill restaurant.
Hello Harry’s menu features handcrafted burgers ranging from beef classics to crispy chicken options and plant-based alternatives, complemented by loaded fries, thick shakes, and signature cocktails. The brand positions itself as more than just a burger joint, emphasising a complete dining experience.
“We’re thrilled to bring Hello Harry to Castle Hill and make history as the first Hello Harry in Sydney,” said Paija. “Our vision has always been about more than just burgers—we’re creating a vibrant dining experience where the community can come together to enjoy incredible food and great vibes.”
The NSW expansion comes as part of Hello Harry’s broader growth strategy, with four additional locations planned to open before the end of 2025. The Castle Hill opening signals the brand’s confidence in the Sydney market and its potential for further expansion throughout the state.
Located at Showground Village, the restaurant is positioned to capitalise on both local foot traffic and the area’s continued development, making it a strategic launchpad for Hello Harry’s NSW operations.
