The Restaurant & Foodservice Show has announced a major three-year partnership with the Dairy Industry Association of Australia (DIAA) to launch the World of Dairy Pavilion, a national showcase designed to connect Australian dairy producers directly with the country’s foodservice professionals.
The partnership comes as dairy remains one of the most essential categories in commercial kitchens, with more than $4 billion in dairy products purchased annually across Australia’s restaurants, cafés, and catering venues, according to Food Industry Foresight data from June 2024.
The new pavilion will debut at the 2026 show, giving dairy manufacturers and producers a dedicated platform to engage with chefs, restaurateurs, caterers and buyers from across the hospitality and institutional foodservice sectors.
“The foodservice industry is a key sector for dairy,” said Doug Eddy, National President of the DIAA. “From the mozzarella cheese that anchors a pizza to the milk that defines a café, our exquisite products are everywhere. This partnership puts dairy where it belongs—in front of the chefs, operators and buyers who use it every day.”
Mike Hill, Head of Growth for the Restaurant & Foodservice Show, said the partnership reflects the show’s commitment to representing the whole supply chain. “Dairy is in every kitchen, every café, every menu,” Hill said. “Partnering with DIAA allows us to celebrate that while giving producers a powerful platform to grow distribution and win new business.”
The Restaurant & Foodservice Show, formerly known as Foodservice Australia, has been repositioned under National Media’s leadership as a focused, industry-only event. Running alongside the Pizza Pasta & Italian Food Show and the Café & Coffee Show, the event draws professionals from restaurants, hotels, aged care facilities, healthcare institutions, education providers and other commercial foodservice operations.
The event attracts more than 15,000 industry professionals and features more than 400 exhibitors, as well as industry competitions and educational programming.
The World of Dairy Pavilion marks an expansion of the show’s mission to strengthen connections between producers and end users and to highlight innovation across the dairy supply chain.
